technical performance the air flow through filter-bag (i.e. filtering
air speed) is in reverse proportion to the ash density contained
in air, therefore, the ash accumulating capability of the filter-bag
(i.e. the maximal permissive ash accumulating quantity in unit area
of the filter-bag during two ash removals) must also be satisfied
when filtering area is determined, in general the ash accumulating
capability is not over 400g/m2 and can be calculated based on the

accumulating capability=ash density contained in air at the inlet×filtering
air speed×interval between two ash removals. If the calculated result
exceeds the ash accumulating capability, the filtering air speed
should be adjusted and the filtering area be added.
